Introduction:
Use the links to the Guggenheim Museum to investigate a Surrealist artist, the artists work, and art style. Then compare this artist and his work to another famous Surrealist artist. Confirm your choice of artists with your teacher before beginning the comparison.

Task: 1. Use the assignment sheet to gather information on your assigned topics. 2. Prepare a presentation to share the information you have collected. 3.
Select a work of art, created by one of the artists you have chosen to
study. 4. Do a study series of 6 thumbnail sketches, using at least 5 different mediums. 5. Create a 18" x 24" (2D) representation of one of the works you have chosen. You may use on of the mediums that you used to complete question #4.
